Time to hop off the carousel

Life can sometimes feel like this:

 .
Running in circles. Not much changes. Reaching for the golden ring and missing it.

But then...

... things start to take off.

I'm not sure how, but I have this feeling life is about to get really interesting.
In a good way.
And, I'm really excited.

(How's that for vague?)

Sweetheart,
I loved your twitter post about the bird feeder. It brought a silly thought to mind. The Bible talks about how the birds of the field will be provided for. Of course, according to a certain religious denomination, Cardinals eat first, especially the Alpha Cardinal,

Oh my gosh, I could tweet about the birds at my feeder all day. (Ha ha.) My favorite part yesterday was when a huge woodpecker came by, not to eat the birdseed but to peck the heck out of R's climbing/slide thingy. I was yelling from inside the house, "It's plastic, silly!"

Like the joke, Dad. :-)

I'll be thinking about you guys,
I hope that hopping off goes really well for you..
I also am excited for the future, mixed with a little fear. But I guess that's how it always is.
Peace

Thanks, Shaun. And, yes, I think any thoughts about the future are mixed with excitement and at least a little fear. Change can be scary even when it's good.
