Little prayer request

I signed up at my new church to participate in a community group, which is a small-group Bible study and community service thing. Tomorrow night is the first meeting. I still don't know anyone at the church yet, so I'm hoping this will give me a chance to meet a few people and hopefully make a friend or two. But, being the quiet and shy person that I am, I'm pretty nervous about it. So, if you think of it, say a little prayer for me to just relax, to be myself, and to remember that God is always with me. Thank you!

Maybe I should wear this to break the ice ... what do you think? ;-)

I think they'll love you no matter what you wear - who wouldn't? I hope it goes well, and you enjoy the community service (but don't end up with more on your plate than you can take care of). I'll be sending good thoughts your way :)

Love the mermaid! Where did you find it? I'll be praying for you and your new group friends. In that venue, I can't imagine anyone could be unfriendly, especially to a newcomer. Hope you have a lovely time. Love you.

Um I think you may run into some problems bringing that along.. How did you get it on the plane?

I'm late in catching up. Yes, you should wear the mermaid outfit. ALWAYS wear mermaid outfits to church events.

So? How'd it go?

I agree with Ericka. From what I have seen on here, you will be loved and you will fit right in. I do like the mermaid outfit though. And Yes I will say a prayer for you.

Well you know what our Lord said...

I will make you "fishers" of men... or was that meremaids????

You do fine.... I'm glad you are getting involved. Me and Pastor Don have found a church to attend, and we just went to a small group Bible Study Thursday night. It's the only way to really meet people and get to know them.

Love and Hugs

Hmmm, well, if you had worn that, we would've been shocked! LOL! But this week's fair game - it's Halloween Eve! ;)
